Many thanks to all those that helped with the litter pick and pond clearance on Saturday 28th the weather was good to us and We were very suprised how little we found in the pond only one bike a road sign one traffic cone a bag and few other small items. The other areas around the pond including the new wetlands however were covered in litter as one helper said I dibn't think so much litter would be found in such a small area.mostly sweet wrappers plastic bags bottles and cans We are sure its not just children. So if YOU see anyone dropping litter explain to them the damage it does to the enviroment and there are plenty of bins avalible for use so there realy is no excuse again thank you to all the helpers a good job well done !
